Nokia has just revealed some details of a new gadget that will be available for sale next year. It is the Nokia 6700 Slide, a mobile phone that features a built-in 5-megapixel camera with autofocus
The 6700 Slide has a design that is really different to the one used in the Nokia 6700 Classic and comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, Symbian user interface, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, built-in 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, HSDPA connectivity, HSUPA connectivity, and a microSD card with a storage capacity of 2GB.
Maybe one thing some people won’t like is, precisely, its design. Why because, as seen in the pictures, it looks really thick and this is not a good thing when, for example, we want to carry it in a pants pocket. The truth is it is not clearly understandable why a company such as Nokia has opted for this type of design. But actually, this is not the first time that Nokia will launch a mobile phone with a thick appearance. Perhaps there are some technical reasons.
Anyway, if you like this phone and the design is not a problem for you, then we have to inform you that this gadget will be available in red, pink, aluminum color, lime, petrol blue, and purple. Its retail price will be approximately $239, before subsidies and taxes.
